Jimmy the Bug

The man that I apprenticed under has a small collection of beautiful gold and gemstone bugs that I adored. One day, while I was scrapping out junk rings, I found three that looked like they could come together and make one for myself! I then started soldering them together piece by piece. the heads of the three rings make up the body of it while the shanks of those rings make up the legs. When I was finished, I set sapphires and diamonds into the midsection of the bug to match the backside of it. It’s all 14k gold with sapphires and diamonds. He currently roams around the jewelry store cases as a show piece.
